Brale Bits: October product updates

Over the past several weeks, two ecosystems launched their own Brale-issued dollars, one of them with $100 million in launch commitments behind it. Brale also added Robinhood Chain and Chia coverage, and shipped the feature our customers have asked about most: branded wires.

Here's a roundup of what Brale shipped in October:

Your name, not ours

When your customer gets a wire from you, it should say it's from you. Now it can.

Add brand.account_id to a wire payout and the recipient sees that account's name instead of Brale as the sender. Set destination.wire_memo to add a payment reference for easier reconciliation. Branded wires join branded ACH and are available now in limited access. Reach out to turn them on, and see the transfers docs for details.

The same goes for bank linking. Pass the optional client_name when you create a Plaid Link token, and your customers see your app's name instead of Brale when they connect a bank account.

Ecosystems launching their own dollars

More platforms are deciding they'd rather settle in a dollar of their own than build on someone else's.

Verona launched verUSD, a stablecoin built for AI agents, with $100 million in institutional launch commitments. Brale issues verUSD and runs its reserve-backed program.

tx launched USTX, a native stablecoin for its tokenized real-world asset marketplace. Users mint USTX with USDC from Ethereum, Solana, Base or Polygon and use it to buy tokenized assets, starting with U.S. equities.

New chains and assets

Teams building on Chia can now launch and move a regulated USD stablecoin without stitching together a separate issuer, custodian and chain integration. Brale's issuance, custody and money movement are live on Chia, through the Brale app and API. Transactions settle in about two minutes and cost about $0.0001.

Brale is also live on Robinhood Chain, bringing us over 30 supported chains. USDG is now available on Ethereum, Solana and Robinhood Chain, and you can send and receive USDC on the XRP Ledger. See supported assets for the full list.

Brale-issued tokens on EVM chains now support EIP-3009 (transfer with authorization): the sender signs, and someone else can submit the transaction and pay the gas. It's a natural fit for agent-driven payments.

Swap stablecoins through one API.

Around the ecosystem

SBC launched swap.stablecoin.xyz for 1:1 stablecoin swaps with no slippage or fees, starting with SBC, cfUSD, USDGLO and USDC on Base and Solana. Radius support followed later in the month. SBC is also now live on Tradecraft.
