Classic USD (USC) is the first regulated, full reserve stablecoin issued natively on Ethereum Classic. Classic USD is fully backed by cash and short-dated U.S. government obligations, so that it is always redeemable 1:1 for U.S. dollars. Classic USD is issued in the United States by Brale, a registered Money Services Business and licensed money transmitter.

Summary
Launched in 2024, Classic USD (USC) is a fiat-collateralized stablecoin issued through a partnership between Brale and EthereumClassic.com. Classic USD is the premiere native stablecoin for Ethereum Classic’s decentralized finance ecosystem, global payments, and on-chain fiat settlement. As of 2022, Ethereum Classic is the largest and most secure Proof-of-Work smart contract network in the world.
